Dutch MEP Rob Roos exposes the globalist war on farmers in the EU Parliament on Wednesday, 17 January 2024.
We see mass farmers’ protests in a growing number of countries. The #EU is responsible. The establishment is trying to make our farmers disappear – one regulation at a time.
📣 Today, I call on the European Parliament: stop making it impossible for #farmers to do their jobs! pic.twitter.com/pAo9OU1iyy

Transcript
All over Europe, farmers are starting to protest.
The direct causes vary. In the Netherlands, it’s about nitrogren; in Germany, it’s higher taxes.
But the underlying reason is deeper, and it is the same everywhere.
In Brussels and in our capitals, the ruling class has decided that we are ‘living wrongly.’
That everything must change.
The urban, academic ruling class is tremendously disconnected from the vast majority of the people.
This ruling class controls politics but doesn’t appreciate farmers – even though farmers feed all of us, every day.
Yet, the ruling class wants our farmers to disappear – one regulation at a time.
Then, they conclude trade agreements with the entire world.
So from now on, we will be importing apples from Vietnam.
All in the name of the climate, of course.
You, Members of the European Parliament, need to look in the mirror.
These massive farmer protests are about you.
You are responsible for this.
Stop forcing people to live differently.
And stop making it impossible for farmers to do their jobs.
We absolutely need our farmers.
Food security is also a matter of national security.
No farmers, no food, no future!
Thank you.
Farmers’ Protests Throughout Europe
Farmers in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Belgium have protested with road blockades, hurled livestock manure at buildings and clashed with police as they vent their frustrations and overall dissatisfaction with EU regulations claiming to battle climate change.
And in Australia …
On Tuesday, 6 February, farmers will descend on Parliament House in Canberra at 10.00 am in a grassroots campaign to protest against renewable energy projects on prime agricultural land, including their properties, such as transmission lines, solar panels and wind turbines.
The organisers of the Reckless Renewables Rally said in a statement, ‘We urge the Federal and State Governments to cease their reckless rollout of unreliable, unaffordable, and environmentally destructive wind, solar, limited “firming” batteries, and high-voltage transmission lines, amidst an ever-increasing demand for reliable electricity.’
The protestors also want the Federal Government to lift the ban on nuclear power as ‘the current ban is archaic, restraining Australia from achieving a strong reliable energy future.’
Climate Change and Energy Minister has poo-pooed the suggestion of nuclear energy in the past claiming it was far more expensive than renewables, saying nuclear would cost $387 billion.
Nuclear energy has the lowest greenhouse gas emissions of any energy source and is currently in use in countries such as France, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Sweden, USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates and South Korea.
Even French President Emmanuel Macron said during COP28 in the United Arab Emirates that the ban on nuclear in Australia needed to be lifted.
